Contingency Plan, Contingency Fund
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Planning is an important element in bringing success in a renovation project, but as what the quotation says “expect the unexpected”, there comes instances where even the best planned strategies and techniques does not work as what it is expected to be.
Acquainting everyone about the real scope of renovation, the project deals with architectural restructuring and redesigning. Every part of the project requires a definite monetary designation. Sometimes, the plans work but that’s not the usual case. Because of unexpected occurrences, all of the sudden, the plan goes another way. If these cases happen, is there such thing as “first aid” in renovation?
The question may be projected as a jerky joke, but if you would look at it deeper point of view, it applies to real architectural latitude. “If you cannot go through the door, go through the window”, a humorous excerpt which suggest that there are always an alternative solution to get out of every entanglement.
Contingency Planning and Contingency fund are two important things that every professional developer should put into a big consideration. Anticipating unexpected occurrences and having some back up plans is ideal in renovation, this is for the fact that cannot control everything. For example a natural circumstance like storm causes delay for your renovation project and sometimes this delays becomes worse because the developer does not know what do in incidence like that. The set back requires another back up, and that is in monetary terms; Contingency Fund.
Contingency Fund is not intended to overspend. Contingency funding works to deliberate and to resolve any budget-related effects of unexpected happenings. The given alternative solutions are all set to bring success in your renovation projects.

restaurant interior design in particular. Location, probably you can consider it, analyze your competition and determine if there is a niche for your idea. How to Keep Your Clients amidst Crisis
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Clients today are skeptical about spending on interior design services. Majorly this is due to the economic dilemma. The given situation makes it hard for interior design companies to survive. No client, no profit. But how will you be able to keep your clients amidst the crisis? Sounds hard right?
Little things matters much. Always think that your clients are busy people, any missed deadlines and even sloppy works can make them look for other provider. But you can manage it, just be professional. Provide them with exceptional service; be aware of your work details.
Making your customer service level high, this is the first step for any business wanting to be successful. You may say that it differs, it is? No it’s not. This point serves as the most basic element; try to put it in the cart of the interior design business. Do you think that your customer will keep on coming back to you asking your company to cater for their interior design needs if they know that your company does not have the ability to satisfy it? Probably they will, on what cases? You may not wish to know.
Considering that your company is not alone (who gives you the idea that your company is the only one who exists). There are thousands of interior design companies, and yes, they offer the same, same services. The point here is try to be unique, establish your own identity, your company needs not to be conventional following the old and rusty way which thousands of other companies have already used. Clients will love to find a company which is different from the other.
Treat your customers the way they should be treated, in this cases they will not have any reasons to look for another man. There is an old saying that ‘good service will keep one customer, but bad service will lose you ten'.

Restaurant Start Up: Satisfy them with Inviting Interiors
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

Some restaurant operators tend to be so confident about their service for the reason that they can delight their customers with mouthwatering cuisines, if this case is similar to yours do not make yourself be blinded and deduced that diners go to a restaurant simply just to eat. Knock your head on the hard concrete. Diners seek for a place where they can eat in such a way that delightful it will be. They seek for a place that complements the taste of the foods served.

Upon entering a restaurant the package of good food, quality service and inviting dining atmosphere should be a package. Now if you are so sure about your menu then try to divert your attention in making your restaurant as pleasing yet unassuming to the eyes of the diners. Though it may end up paying thousands of bucks for hiring a restaurant interior designer yet it will bring a bigger promise of diner’s traffic.

Then you may ask, what’s the connection of having an inviting restaurant interior design to the foods that your restaurant is serving? A Chinese restaurant appears to be a Chinese restaurant because it serves Chinese cuisines and basically because Chinese architecture, customs and culture physically reflects in the restaurant. The exterior and interior appearance of the restaurant has a big effect in the wholeness of the restaurant; it creates a firmer identity for clients to remember.

Giving the Right Score for your Interior Design Provider
Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

As a client you are entitled into different rights and privileges, you have the right to set your standards when it comes to service. You can give the best credit that you want to give and you can even give the worst one. Once the will of the client is satisfied by the provider, the client in return can give his or her best reward, a sort of appreciation maybe.

You may not want to sacrifice the aesthetics of your space’s interior design that you may want to entrust this work into someone, a group or an individual who can meet your preference. This can be tough, just try to imagine how hard it will take, you need to choose the best among thousands of interior design companies.

After your interior design project reached the last installation process, you and only you have the last say. You may not be good in reviewing interior decorations yet you know your preference, you can critique their work and judge them based on these things.
1. In any interior design project, the involvement of the client is very important; your personal preference should be considered and should be the basis of how things should appear. Now try to look at the details of space, do you think that your interior designer considered your preference. The color, the arrangement all of this should be based from what you have given them, unless otherwise you let them take over everything (which should not happen).
2. Every interior design should be functional; every detail should have its part in the wholeness of the interiors.
3. Do you think that the interior design of your space is worth an investment?

From these things try to formulate and from the scale of one to ten, ten being the highest and one being the lowest, what score will you be giving? This score can do big things; it will identify the aesthetic looks of your future interior design projects.
